Service

Vocabula provides vocabulary flashcards with FSRS scheduling and on-device voice features. The free tier includes local study with usage limits; Pro adds sync, backup, and higher limits.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials. You must provide an accurate email for billing and support.

Subscriptions

Vocabula Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, at the price shown in the app before you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

You manage a store subscription — including cancellation — through that store: on iOS in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, on Android in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Refunds for store purchases are requested from the store under its policies; if you get stuck, support@aimdev.site will help you find the right place.

Some earlier subscriptions were billed through Stripe on our former web app. Any such subscription that remains active is managed through the AimDev account hub (account.aimdev.site); cancelling stops future renewals and Pro access continues until the end of the paid period.

Cancelling is not the same as a refund. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund charges already paid. After cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period unless a refund is approved and the subscription is ended earlier.

Promo codes and admin grants may provide time-limited Pro access and may not be refundable or exchangeable for cash.

Plan changes after Pro ends

If your Pro subscription ends, your local vocabulary and review progress remain on your device. Pro-only cloud sync and higher limits may pause until you renew. You can export or delete account data at any time from Profile in the app.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or scrape other users' data.

Learning tools & AI accuracy

Pronunciation scoring, speech recognition, translations, definitions, examples, and AI-assisted study aids are learning tools, not guarantees. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and do not guarantee language-learning outcomes. Your own self-grade and judgement should guide your study decisions. On-device AI features depend on your device and enabled settings.

Content credits

Some example sentences come fromTatoeba and are used under theCC BY 2.0 FR licence. Word definitions and translations are generated by Vocabula; dictionary sources are used only to verify that a word exists and to check its part of speech and pronunciation.

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. On-device AI features depend on your device capabilities.
