Data Deletion — Delete Your AimDev Account and Data

Delete your account from inside the app

Our product apps (Bail, Echo, Smart Leaflet, Vocabula) include a "Delete my account & all data" button in your profile. This is the fastest route and does not require contacting us.
Deletion is immediate and permanent across all AimDev products — there is no recovery window, so use "Download my data" first if you want a copy.
Before deleting, you can use "Download my data" on the same screen to export a copy of what we hold.

If you cannot reach the in-app button — for example you have lost access to the account — email privacy@aimdev.site.
Tell us which product you used and the email address or sign-in method attached to the account. We may ask you to confirm ownership before deleting anything.
We respond within a reasonable time and confirm in writing once deletion is complete.

Removing AimDev from your Facebook, Google, or Apple account settings disconnects the sign-in link — but on its own it does not delete your AimDev account or the data our products hold. Please use one of the two routes above to delete the data itself.
On Facebook you can remove the connection at Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → AimDev → Remove. Do this after requesting deletion, not instead of it.

You do not have to delete everything. You can leave a single product — that product's data is removed while your AimDev account and your other products stay intact.
Use that product's own settings, or email privacy@aimdev.site naming the product you want to leave.

For example: Bail's stored phone number and call/SMS history; Echo's drops, messages, and recipient contacts. Echo voice recordings are ephemeral in any case — they are deleted once heard or when they expire.

Records we are required to keep by law — principally payment and invoice records — are retained for the period the law requires, even after account deletion. They are kept for accounting and tax purposes only, and are not used to contact you or to rebuild a profile.
Pseudonymous product analytics events are keyed only to an account identifier and contain no names, phone numbers, message content, or precise location. They are deleted automatically after about 14 months.
Deleted data may persist briefly in encrypted backups until those backups rotate out of retention.

privacy@aimdev.site. You can use the same address to request access, correction, or a copy of your data (portability). Our Privacy Policy has the full picture.
New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 applies. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you also have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
