AimDev is a small software company in Auckland. We make ten apps of our own and run them on our own servers here in New Zealand. We can build the one tool your business is missing and keep it running for you. Everything is done by email, in writing, with a fixed quote.

Prices are indicative. Every project is quoted by email after a short written brief.
What the monthly fee covers
Hosting in New Zealand, nightly encrypted backups with regular restore tests, monitoring with alerts, security updates, sign-in and payments kept working, small changes (1 to 2 hours a month), and email support with a reply within 2 business days. Our uptime target is 99% a month. We will tell you exactly what we measured before you sign.
How it works
- Email us. Write to support@aimdev.site with what you need in your own words. We reply within 2 business days with 10 short questions.
- Written quote. You answer the questions by email. We send a fixed price, a scope and a timeline in writing. If it is not a fit, we say so.
- Deposit and build. 40% deposit to start. Every Friday you get a short update with a link to try what is done so far.
- Launch and run. You check it, we launch it, you pay the balance. From then on it is our job to keep it running for the monthly fee.
Proof
- Ten live apps and three free tools, built and run by us: TradeWrite AI, Smart Leaflet, Vocabula, Kermo, Holt, Tickets, Mafia, Bail, Echo, AIM Party.
- Our own servers in Auckland. Databases, files, sign-in, analytics and monitoring are all run in-house.
- Measured availability about 99.0% over the 30 days to 17 September 2026. We publish our numbers, including the bad weeks.
- Backups every night to two places. Restore drills every Sunday.
FAQ
Who owns the code?
You do. When the final invoice is paid, the code written for your project is yours, delivered to a repository you control. The shared platform pieces that every app on our servers uses (sign-in, billing, analytics libraries) stay ours, and you have a licence to keep using them for your app for as long as it runs with us. We tell you in the quote exactly which parts are which.
Where is the data?
On our own servers in Auckland, New Zealand. If you need every copy, including backups, to stay inside New Zealand, say so in the brief and we will quote for that.
What if you stop?
We give at least 90 days' notice. You receive a full export of your database and files in standard formats, the code, and a written guide to run it elsewhere. Two months' run fee is waived to cover the move. The same applies if you decide to leave.
What happens when something breaks?
Alerts reach us at any hour. We work on outages as soon as they fire. You get an email when we know what happened and when it is fixed.
Do you do calls?
No. Everything is in writing. It keeps the record clear and keeps the price down.
Can you add AI features?
If your tool needs something like transcription or text drafting, we can quote it as a feature, the way our own TradeWrite and Holt apps use it. It is quoted and priced like any other feature.
How small is too small?
If it would take under a week, say so. We will tell you by email whether it is worth doing or whether an off-the-shelf tool would serve you better.
