Windows 10 and 11
Checking…Windows will show a warning the first time you run the installer. The AIM Party installer is not yet signed with a Microsoft-recognised certificate, so Windows SmartScreen shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen. The installer is safe to run; the checksum next to the download lets you verify it.
- On the blue screen, click More info.
- Click Run anyway.
- If Windows Firewall asks, click Allow so guests on your Wi-Fi can reach the app.
Then start AIM Party from the desktop shortcut and add the folder with your karaoke files.

To verify the download, open PowerShell in the folder with the file and run Get-FileHash AIM-Party-Setup.exe; the result must match the checksum above.

- Open the downloaded disk image and drag AIM Party to Applications.
- Start AIM Party. The app is signed and notarised by AIM DEV LIMITED.
- Add the folder with your karaoke files and press "Open the screen".

Home, or with a key
The download is the same for everyone. Without a key, AIM Party runs as Home: karaoke, music mode and the quiz with one phone per team, in three languages.
A Host or Venue key adds what a venue night needs: quiz teams with a captain, the host remote, venue and sponsor logos, the OneMusic report and night statistics with Host, and the league, the Tickets link and door scanning with Venue, on up to three laptops.
- Install and start AIM Party.
- Open Settings → Key.
- Enter your key once. The app remembers it.
Without a key the app runs as Home, and nothing on the computer is deleted: your songs, music and quizzes stay where they are. Compare Home, Host and Venue.
